As you look around the beautiful surroundings you wonder what events might have transpired there that have left very little or nothing behind.

In this book I will explore the most interest events and shipwrecks in the vicinity of Saona Island during the era of 1850 to 1950. The following illustrated short stories are based on actual reported events in 19th - 20th century newspapers. Whether some of the shipwrecks have any remains left or if there is any evidence of other unusual events is unknown, but all these events were reported to have occurred near Saona Island.
